Come meet Joe Yonan, Author of a new book dedicated to cooking delicious meals for one called “Serve Yourself: Nightly Adventures in Cooking for One” (Ten Speed Press) at Boswell Book Co., 2559 N. Downer Ave., Milwaukee. The event is Friday (That’s tomorrow!) at 7:00 PM. Boswell will be featuring several dishes from the book at he event and of course selling copies of the book.
Joe Yonan is the Food and Travel editor of The Washington Post, where he writes a monthly column, Cooking for One, and regular feature stories. He is a two-time James Beard Foundation award-winner for best newspaper food section. Yonan also co-wrote one of my favorite and most used cookbooks, The Fearless Chef.
The book has been getting rave reviews from food writers, chefs, and most importantly home cooks looking for inspired meals when cooking for themselves.
I cannot attend myself but if you follow Yonan on Twitter, I am sure you already know that he seems like an engaging and fun food personality which leads me to believe this will be a great event.
