End hunger by planting an extra row in your garden.

Most food pantries are the recipients of loads and loads of shelf-stable processed foods.  While some can be good (canned tomatoes, tuna, beans, etc) a lot of them are typically loaded with sodium and are not that good for you. Well the Food Pantry of Waukesha County has started a grassrots effort to increase donations of fresh produce by enlisting people to plant an extra row of veggies or fruit in their garden for people in need. If you want to participate you can even get a yard sign.

Darryl Enriquez of Waukesha FYI has more details.
