Recently I have been inundated with press releases in my inbox. This is something new to me. I don’t really have a policy on them but I have sort of decided that any Wisconsin food, beverage, or travel related release will be posted. I also decided that I will do some chain restaurant or national product press releases only if it ties in to Wisconsin, as the Wine Spectator giving their Award of Excellence to both Wisconsin Flemming’s steakhouses. I think that having more Wisconsin restaurants on that list is a good thing and something to promote, even if it is for a national chain. For the most part I will not post press releases for national chains if it has nothing to do with Wisconsin. I will do press releases for national brands of beer, wine, food, and events if I feel like it would be of interest to readers.
